So many choices! The food is so good, homemade and fresh. Love this place. Atmosphere is diner-like, but even better. Interesting memorabilia from the area and NYC, Broadway and sporting events gives the place a nice touch. A hidden gem tucked away in the shopping center. Wish they didn't close so early.

Servers are friendly and remember customers preferences! Corned beef is always lean and tasty! All their food is good, but their corned beef Reuben is my favorite dish! Can be pricy, but its worth the price!

Great place for lunch where you can have a good soup with a glass of wine. Not much ambiance, sort of a deli idea. But don't let it fool you. Excellent food at good prices. The strip mall location might fool you but you'll enjoy the food.

Make your way through the Center Court at the New Hartford Shopping Center for a pleasant surprise. Friendly service, delicious family-recipe food, and a very cozy wine/craft beer bar. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable.

This is one of my favorite places to go to lunch. I've never had a bad meal here. Everything is made fresh. The best macaroni & cheese on Friday nights and I love their fried pickles. Great portion size too!! I highly recommend stopping in. You will not be disappointed.

When you walk in you smell the home cooked food. One of the few restaurants in area that has amazing smell. I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Panini. I loved it! Chicken was still steaming hot, the hot sauce had the perfect balance, the bun was fresh, the side was a homemade potato salad. I asked our waitress for the recipe. Amazing and Highly recommended.

The bar area is cozy. Phil is very friendly. It is obvious the food is homemade and prepared with care. Love the variety.

Wandering the New Hartford Plaza one day and saw a sign out front for Pumpernickels. The specials looked good so I ordered a club sandwich and new england clam chowder. The clam chowder reminded me of some I had in Maine, rich, thick, just excellent chowder. The club sandwich was also excellent been back a dozen times always excellent the wait staff is also wonderful and the owner always says hello. Love this place if you haven't been treat yourself.

Everything we have had from the panini's to the meatball platter to burgers, steak, and fish are all awesome. Phil and his staff are absolutely wonderful! This is the place where you go when you want to relax, listen to some awesome jazz, and have a conversation! We will be back again and highly recommend others to do the same. Oh, and don't forget to check out the awesome craft beer selection - available in draft and bottles!

I had a giant turkey club sandwich and some chicken soup, all were excellent. Also seashore fries everything were great. Please go if you have not been.

The menu is extensive, the service is very good, and the quality is consistent. Special's change everyday. You are always greeted with a smile. Take out service comes in handy.

Just found this place and loved it. Food was great. Loved the New York City theme! The owner was there working as hard as the rest of the staff. All very friendly. Will definitely be back with friends. Looking forward to trying the Haddock dinner.

If you are going to this place thinking you will grab a quick sandwich and be on your way you are in the wrong place. However, if you are looking for an excellent meal you are definitely in the right place.

Stopped by for lunch on a cold Saturday. I ordered clam chowder,and a French dip sandwich. Friend ordered chicken soup and the beet salad with grilled chicken.Everything was great, and the waitstaff is the best!

I love the atmosphere in there.. Friendly staff.. Attentive.. Great food.. I had the grilled cheese with bacon, side salad and fries.. Feel good food.. The owner came out and said hello which he always makes a point and you don’t see that often anymore.. Unfortunately I always forget about the place but happy I hit it up today with friends..

Best lunch in New Hartford. This is always a great lunch place. Stopped in today, had a cup of New England clam chowder which was similar to some I had in Maine. Ordered the pickle burger special with deep fried pickles on top. It was excellent and the fries were great too! Some places cheap out on the dill pickles but not here, Pumpernickels have very good pickles. The staff is wonderful. Whatever I order from the menu is always great. Keep up the excellent work.

The service was fast and the food was great. They have a variety of sandwiches and other New York-style deli menu items. The interior is also New York-style with posters and pictures covering the walls. All in all, this restaurant is a great deli with a fun atmosphere and excellent service.

Great service, food is excellent. The menu has a lot of choices but they are all great. The owner is there working in the kitchen everyday and they use only quality ingredients. I've never had a bad meal here.

I brought a simple sandwich platter in to an office today. The sandwiches were wonderful and the soup was fresh and so great tasting. The owner was super friendly and went out of his way to say hello and shake my hand. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

One of the best Reuben's I've had. Pretty busy and food still came out fresh and quick. Be coming here every time I come into town.

Food is soooo good, homemade and fresh. Service is great and you will not find a cleaner restaurant anywhere. Live jazz on Friday or Saturday nights too. (It's located in "center court" of the shopping plaza so you really have to look for it). Top notch!

A favorite place for me. Even my kids who live out of state always want to eat here when they come home.
